Founder Yoga Philosophy
Sai Naresh, as he is known by his friends and students, is the founder and principal instructor of Lalitha Yoga Academy (LYA). Born and brought up in Puttaparthi, famous as the birthplace of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba and one of the important spiritual places of India, he started his yoga career in 2016 as a meditation teacher and then continued his studies in Hatha yoga, Yin yoga, Ashtanga Vinyasa, Vinyasa flow, and teachers training course certification. He is currently teaching and practicing Multi-style yoga. Naresh started his deep meditation and self-discovery journey in Arunachala, the home of the great Sri Ramana Maharshi, where he was inspired to follow the path of yoga and become a yoga teacher. He joined Shivananda ashram in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, where in 2016 he graduated his Teacher Training Course. In 2017 he did Ashtanga TTC in Mysore, followed by the TTC in kerala and also in Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala in 2018. He moved to the famous beach town Varkala in 2018 to dedicate to yoga teaching in different schools and resorts. Becoming an influential and known yoga teacher, Sai Naresh was invited to teach dozens of times in Russia, Germany, Italy and Austria. All of this further evolved his own practice and expertise, which led him to open the Lalitha Yoga Academy in 2023 with its own dedicated ashram and resort on Varkala North Cliff.

Tanvi’s journey began in the world of languages, with a Master’s degree in French and over a decade of teaching experience. She received a scholarship to study in France and later continued her academic journey in the UK, gaining invaluable cultural and global exposure along the way. Life gradually guided her toward a deeper connection — one that blends movement, mindfulness, and self-discovery. Having grown up practicing pranayama and meditation with her mother, she formally stepped into the world of yoga in 2021 with Airo Yoga training, later facilitating Airo Yoga sessions and ice baths in South Goa. Her path continued to evolve through Hatha, Ashtanga, Yin Yoga, Pranayama, and Meditation, spending several months in Mysore immersed in deep daily practice and study. Alongside her yoga journey, Tanvi also practices Energy Healing and continues to explore the subtle layers of the body through sound, vibration, and breath. Her areas of expertise include sound healing sessions, guided meditations, energy healing, chakra activation through sound, yogic pranayama techniques. With Tanvi, you experience a blend of grounding and openness - she teaches with sensitivity, presence, and flow, creating a safe space for self-awareness and transformation. Her approach weaves traditional practices with intuitive connection, encouraging each person to meet themselves where they are. Based in South Goa since 2021 and now rooted in Varkala, where she teaches at Lalitha Yoga Academy and Kerala Yoga Shala, Tanvi draws inspiration from the vibrant community of artists, movers, and seekers around her. A solo traveler at heart, she loves exploring cultures, sharing stories, and creating meaningful connections through yoga and wellness. For her, this journey is a continuous dance of learning, healing, and gratitude a reminder that every breath is an opportunity to begin again.

Yogi Mayank Goswami is a deeply passionate and quite intuitive yoga teacher who blends the traditional roots of yoga with modern-day anatomy and a heartfelt spiritual awareness. With over five years of honest, grounded teaching under his belt, Mayank has already carved out a place for himself in the yoga world-guiding students from many corners of the globe toward safer, more aware, and deeply transformative practice. His journey truly began back in 2019, when a strong inner pull led him to take yoga more seriously, more inwardly. He first enrolled for a Diploma in Yoga from the reputed Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga, and soon after, he went on to finish a 500-Hour Yoga Teacher Training (YTT), certified by Yoga Alliance USA. And that wasnt the end-he also completed a Master's Degree in Yoga from Uttarakhand University, giving him not just book knowledge but a broader understanding of both ancient yogic thought and scientific perspective.
Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga
Born and brought up in the yogic culture of Rishikesh, Yohi Rahul Negi Ji is one of the well-known Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga teachers. His contribution through his skills and knowledge in making Yog Gau one of the best yoga schools is remarkable. In the spiritual and yogic atmosphere of Rishikesh, he developed a profound proficiency in Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, focusing on Alignment, Adjustment, Pranayama, and Meditation. Committed to sharing this knowledge, she began teaching in Karnataka, where she successfully brought yogic wisdom to over 40 villages. Since 2015, she has continued her teaching journey in Rishikesh and, for nearly a decade, has been guiding students at various yoga schools on Varkala Cliff while traveling to share her practice more widely.

After finishing his graduation in Ayurveda in 2007 he had learned different specialties like traditional kalari massage, ayurveda panchakarma, marma therapy, nadi examination, energy healing, yoga and spiritual practices. He started his career as a junior doctor in K.P. Pathrose Vaidayan Kandamkulathy in central Kerala. Later he worked in hospitality industry as a spa manager in Abad group of hotels & Club Mahindra He was also former Consultant physician for Healing Veda health solution, Kerala Chief physician and trainer at Asramam Training College, Idukki, Kerala Consultant for AIMIL Healthcare, Dushanbae, Tajikistan Senior medical officer , Panchakarma AVN Arogya hospital, Madurai Tamilnadu Now he is the Chief Physician & Director ARSHA VAIDYA School of Ayurveda.

Meera aka Yasmin, born into a family that is deeply rooted in Bhakti Yoga and Karma Yoga. She believes the seed of Yoga was planted in her while she was a child. She had always been drawn to movements starting from dance, aerobic, leading into Yogasana., Her journey continued into Asana, Pranayama, Kriya and Mediation through various courses at Isha Foundation. She spent some time in Miami, USA learning Ashtanga Vinyasa at Kino MacGregor’s Yoga Shala. Inspired by the teachers in Miami, she lived substantial time in Mysore to deepen her Yoga understanding. She learnt Ashtanga Vinyasa, Hatha, Pranayama and Meditation from teachers who were disciples of Sri B N S Iyengar. With her keen interest in getting familiarized with all different styles of Asana practice, she spent time in Mumbai to get an exposure to Iyengar style Yoga. Simultaneously, she developed a strong connection and interest into the philosophy of Yoga, Samkhya and Vedanta. In addition to her daily sadhna, she dedicates a lot of time studying and learning the ancient Indian scriptures from various organizations. Currently, she is pursuing a M Sc in Yogic Science. Meera is an avid traveler and trekker. Her connection to Yoga and wandering, takes her to various parts of India and the world. She believes, through travels, she is constantly understanding other cultures better and incorporating it in her learning and teaching .Travel has given her opportunities to connect and learn from senior teachers with varied cultures and geographies. She identifies more to be a student of yoga and considers it as a life long journey. Being driven by her interest and connection, she shares the transformative impact of traditional Indian practices to contemporary students all over the world. Meera is also a certified Yoga Therapist. Her asana classes emphasize the breath, internal movements, self-exploration with a hint of therapy. While in her philosophy class, she uses her experiences, her wisdom to convey the ancient Indian Knowledge Systems(darshana) in a relatable and accessible way. Like many of us, Meera had her own rollercoaster journey of life. In retrospect, she takes all the events as a “blessing in disguise” and she feels very fortunate that Yoga is her path.
