A 200 Hour Yoga Teacher's Training Course located in Varkala, Kerala is an amazing chance to begin a long journey towards learning about your own self while building a successful career as a yoga teacher. We invite you to participate in our 21 day 200 Hour Teacher Training Course followed by an 8 day Yin Yoga Teacher Training Course at the peaceful and healing beach in Varkala.

You will have an opportunity to learn about ancient yogic philosophies and wisdom from texts such as the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, which all help you to create a more conscious and intentional way of living your life. Then there is Yin Yoga, which is a practice of inviting patience and stillness through holding each posture for an extended period of time so that you can observe your thoughts and emotions without the other distractions of life interfering. This practice allows for a very personal and transformative experience whereby you release tension both physically and mentally. The ability to share the teachings of Yin Yoga will empower you as a teacher to assist others in obtaining that same state of inner stillness and healing.
Yoga can be thought of as both a science and an art. By studying the anatomy and physiology of the human body while using the principles of yoga, it gives you an understanding of how each body works as one comprehensive unit. This knowledge of muscles, joints and fascia will allow you to teach in a safe manner while reducing the likelihood of injury to those who are being taught in addition to giving you a clear understanding of how to properly support each student regardless of where they may be at in their yoga journey. The study of Yin Yoga will deepen your understanding by allowing you to explore the connective tissues in relationship to energy pathways.
